Ringsgwandl began his career in 1975 in the Lighting Division at Siemens in Traunreut, Germany. Ringsgwandl joins the team of Dr. Rüdiger Müller who chairs the Managing Board, and Jörg Thäle who is responsible for the production side of the business.
Wittgen is moving to the parent company OSRAM, where he will take on the role of Global Chief Information Officer (CIO). He has been responsible for finances at OSRAM Opto Semiconductors since 1999. As CIO, he will now have global responsibility for information technology within the OSRAM group.
